CAPPADOCIA

June 3–8, 2027 · Cappadocia, Turkey

Five days of movement and terrain in a landscape that erosion built, not architects.

designed. It was carved — by volcanic ash, wind, and water working the same rock for millions of years until it became spires, cones, and hollowed valleys. People have lived inside that result for centuries, building homes directly into the stone rather than on top of it. We’re gathering here for five days inside that history.

Mornings start before the sky belongs to anyone. Hundreds of hot air balloons lift at sunrise over the valleys, and we’ll practice yoga on a terrace positioned to watch it happen — not as a backdrop, but as the actual view.

From there, the days move at the pace of people who came to look closely. Cave dwellings carved by hand. Viewpoints most visitors never find. Artisans working crafts that haven’t changed in generations. Village streets built for walking, not driving.

This isn’t a retreat that schedules every hour. It’s five days with enough structure to feel held and enough room to actually notice where you are.

WHERE YOU’LL STAY

We’ll be staying in a luxury cave hotel in Göreme — one of Cappadocia’s most recognized villages, and one built almost entirely into the rock itself.

The rooms are carved directly into the region’s ancient formations, then finished with the comfort modern travel expects. Panoramic terraces look straight out over the valleys, positioned for a front-row view of the sunrise balloon displays the region is known for. Cafés, boutiques, and the texture of daily village life are a short walk away — close enough to stay immersed, private enough to actually rest.

Private Room — A room reserved exclusively for you. $2,700 USD

Shared Room — For friends or family traveling together. Shared rooms include one king-size bed and are built for two guests comfortable sharing it. The hotel doesn’t offer twin-bed configurations, so shared occupancy is available only to guests booking together as travel companions. $2,100 USD per person

“Traveling to Cappadocia with Dee was incredible! Her firsthand knowledge and understanding of the culture added so much to the experience. The cave hotel we stayed in was exquisite with beautiful views and the best breakfast every morning! It was such a wonderful trip and Dee made sure everything was taken care of. We had rooftop yoga sessions with hot air balloons drifting overhead and activities like horseback riding, ATVs, exploring the fairy chimneys and more.”

HOW WE’LL SPEND OUR DAYS

Each day opens the same way: yoga on the terrace as the sun comes up and the balloons lift off behind it. After that, the rhythm shifts toward exploration.

A local guide leads us through Cappadocia’s terrain and its history — cave dwellings, hidden viewpoints, the layers of culture that built this region long before tourism found it. The days carry real activities, not filler: a whirling dervish ceremony, a traditional pottery workshop, and time with trusted local artisans for carpet and jewelry, the kind of shopping that comes with context instead of pressure.

There’s also room to slow down. A traditional Turkish hammam. Tea on a terrace with nowhere to be. Stillness, when the valleys call for it more than activity does.

Evenings move toward the table — Turkish dinners built around the region’s food, hospitality, and the kind of conversation that happens when a small group has spent the day somewhere worth talking about.

For anyone who wants more, a sunrise hot air balloon flight, horseback riding through the valleys, and an ATV tour are available to book. Nothing here is mandatory. You move through the week at your own pace.
