200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
📆 September 19 - 30, 2026 | In-Person in Uluwatu, Bali + Online Integration
OUR COMPREHENSIVE 200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING CURRICULUM
We’re deeply passionate about offering a training that goes far beyond memorizing sequences or learning how to cue poses.
Most 200-hour yoga teacher trainings don't give you a method.
They give you a list of postures with limited cues, a watered-down version of anatomy, and very little instruction on how to design and sequence classes based on the actual principles of movement. If you're lucky, they send you home with a couple of class templates to memorize. Templates that won't take you far the moment a real student with a real body sits in front of you.
The trainings might be cheap. They might be accessible. But then you get in front of a room and realize the training never taught you how to think. It only taught you how to follow.
Sequential Body's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali was built to close that gap.
Over 12 days at Grün Resort in Uluwatu, Bali, you will learn the biomechanics, sequencing logic, and teaching intelligence that makes a class more than a flow. Our curriculum moves from anatomical foundation to applied methodology to live practice teaching. By the time you leave, you carry a framework that works on any body, in any studio, without needing to defer to anyone else's formula, including a studio's.
This is not a retreat with a certification attached. It is a teacher training. The location is extraordinary. The work is serious.
THE HYBRID MODEL
Your training begins before you land in Bali.
Prior to arrival, students complete self-paced foundational study on SequentialBody.com: anatomy primers, philosophical context, and an introduction to the Sequential Body methodology. This pre-work is not optional background reading. It is active preparation that means the 12 days in Bali are spent going deeper, not catching up.
After the in-person immersive, your continuing education continues on Sequential Body. Evening lectures are available both live and recorded, so you can integrate at your own pace and return to the material as your teaching practice develops and new questions surface. You will also have direct access to both Emilie and Dee for ongoing mentorship, questions, and support as you move from training into active teaching.
The structure: Self-paced online study on SequentialBody.com → 12-day in-person immersive in Bali → continuing education lectures and mentorship with Emilie and Dee on SequentialBody.com.
This format was built intentionally. Immersive learning requires time to absorb. You will leave Bali with more than notes. You will leave with understanding that has had space to settle, and a support structure that stays with you as you put it into practice.

WHO’S IT FOR ?
This 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali is for practitioners who are ready to stop following and start understanding. Past students have included yoga teachers at the ceiling of their current training, Pilates instructors expanding their movement vocabulary, psychologists and therapists bringing somatic tools into their practice, athletes pursuing intelligent movement education, and lifelong practitioners who want to understand their own bodies with more precision.
You do not need to be advanced in your physical practice. You need to be genuinely curious about how bodies work, ready to engage with material that asks more of you than memorization, and committed to the kind of precision that separates a skilled teacher from one who is merely competent. If you want to walk away with your own methodology rather than a borrowed one, this training was built for you.

YOUR TEACHERS
GET TO KNOW
Dee is a yoga teacher, breathwork and meditation facilitator, and a forever student of this path.
Her teaching style is strong, heart-centered, and rooted in alignment, with plenty of space for you to show up as you are. Just one week after graduating from her own YTT, Dee began teaching at a 5-star hotel in Tulum—and she’s been pouring that real-world experience into training grounded, embodied teachers ever since.
Dee is also certified in yin and restorative yoga, and she often teaches “sweat to surrender” flows—blending strong, intelligent movement with deep, nourishing stillness. That same balance of structure and surrender will shape your experience here, too.
Emilie is an international yoga educator, movement therapist, and founder of Sequential Body, a digital studio dedicated to empowering yoga, Pilates, and wellness professionals through intelligent, anatomy-informed movement.
With over 20 years of experience and 1,000+ hours of advanced training in orthopedic rehab and sports medicine, Emilie blends science-backed methods with yoga philosophy to create purposeful, progressive practices. She’s worked with clinical rehab centers, trained teachers at top institutions like YogaWorks and Equinox, and developed anatomy curriculum for leading wellness brands.
Now based between Bali and Southern California, Emilie specializes in advanced vinyasa, active recovery, prenatal, Pilates, and therapeutic yoga. Her signature approach helps students build strength, restore function, and feel deeply connected to their bodies.
