General FAQs

  • We offer two yoga classes a day on our yoga retreats: a morning Vinyasa flow class which is quite active and invigorating, and a heavenly restorative Yin yoga class in the evening with a longer relaxation.

  • There are normally 10-15 people on each yoga retreat. This can vary slightly by retreat and by date, but we tend to limit the number to 16 people.

  • You’ll be receiving three meals a day. A morning “light” breakfast before practice. This will include bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit.

The afternoon and dinner buffet offer full menu courses including poultry, veggies, and fresh fruit.

Morocco has a healthy Mediterranean diet, and they can accommodate any type of dietary request. You’ll have many things to choose from including large salads, fresh grilled fish and meat, all sorts of veggies, as well as pasta and legumes. We eat what we like, no restrictions, and often people will enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. Delicious food is one of the highlights of our yoga retreats, and we make sure that all dietary needs and allergies are taken into consideration.

  • This is a shared room retreat with one large king bed to share. We are happy to accommodate roommates with two beds as well that can be arranged to your desire. If you need a roommate, we’d be happy to arrange this. We normally put people in a shared room if they’re traveling together and request it specifically – friends, siblings, couples etc. However, if we do get requests from two people traveling on their own who would like to share, we can put you two in a shared room. Please contact us if this is your preference.

  • Due to Covid health and safety measures, unfortunately we’re no longer able to provide yoga mats for our yogis on retreat. Please bring your own yoga mat and feel free to bring anything else you may need for your yoga practice, such as a block and a strap.

  • We have not included flights into the holiday package since we have people joining from all over the world.

  • We highly recommend arriving one day prior to the start date of March 11th to acclimate to the time change, rest, and to ensure you make the retreat. Those who arrive late due to travel issues will not be partially refunded for missed days or sessions.

Plan to arrive at some point on the first day of the retreat (the first date mentioned in the dates listed on our website). We’ll have a group dinner that evening to meet everyone, and yoga classes will start the next morning. The last class will be in the morning on the last day of the retreat, and people will leave at some point on the next day depending on flights. Check-out is usually around 12noon.

  • All our destinations are extremely safe, we are careful to pick locations that don’t present any threat, we would never organize a yoga retreat in a place we felt would present any danger. We constantly monitor the situation in all the countries we visit to make sure there is no danger. Our Palace comes with private security and private transportation to take you to the Medina and to help you with anything you need (the price for private transportation to and from the Medina is not included and costs around 25Euro for 7 ppl).

  • If you, or any member of your party, cancel your travel arrangements at any time after deposit you will not be given a refund. Since we incur costs in canceling your travel arrangements 100% of the payments will be forfeited.

  • As a US citizen, if you want to travel to Morocco for tourism or other short-term purposes, you are not subject to any visa requirements at all. US citizens, along with several others, are exempt from Morocco visas and can visit the country with just their passport and a return flight ticket for up to 90 days.

  • Final payment is due no later than February 1, 2024.

  • Flights, taxi cabs, tips for tour excursions, housekeeping, chefs, and spa employees are not included. We also do not provide toiletries, espresso (though coffee is offered) and drinking water on site. These items can be paid for upfront to our butlers.
